1. Service

XcodeVPS provides remote rentals of Apple silicon Mac mini computers. Each order includes a dedicated physical machine. For the duration of your rental, you have exclusive use of its chip, memory and internal storage. macOS runs directly on the physical hardware; the machine is not a virtual machine.

Available locations are Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul and Hong Kong. The configurations and locations available for each order are those listed in the rental plans and shown in the console at checkout. We provide the connection address, port and credentials through the console after delivery.

You can use your machine through a graphical desktop or the command line. The service covers the configuration, location, rental period and add-ons specified in your order. If you need additional storage or Thunderbolt 5 daisy-chaining, check the applicable configuration and price before ordering.

2. Billing and pricing

You can choose a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly rental period. The minimum rental period is one day. Before you confirm an order, we show the configuration, location, period, add-ons, amount due and expiry time. Check the order confirmation page for the details of your purchase. Use of the service is subject to the applicable macOS software licence terms.

Prices for each configuration and add-on are listed in our rental plans. All prices and charges are in USD. Each rental period is priced separately; the price for one period is not necessarily the daily rate multiplied by the number of days.

Your rental starts at the service start time shown in your order. If you plan to use the machine continuously, compare the prices for each period before paying. To extend your rental, check the available renewal options and renewal order amount in the console before your current period ends.

3. Payment methods

We accept USDT-TRC20 and Visa, Mastercard and Amex payments processed by Stripe. All orders are charged in USD. The payment gateways available at checkout are determined by the options returned by our backend in real time.

For card payments, Stripe processes your card details; they do not pass through our servers. For USDT-TRC20 payments, use the network, address and amount provided with your order, and keep a record of the transaction. Using the wrong network, address or amount may prevent us from matching your payment to the order automatically.

After paying, check the order status in the console to confirm that payment is complete. If you have sent the payment but the status has not updated, sign in to the console and submit a support ticket with your order number and transaction hash. Do not share payment credentials on public pages.

4. Renewals, expiry and recovery

We will send you a reminder before your rental expires. Once your renewal is complete, we will usually continue providing the service on your current machine. Refer to the renewal status and new expiry time shown in the console. Receiving a reminder or opening the renewal page does not extend your rental.

If you do not renew before expiry, we will recover the machine and then reset its entire disk. Files, build artifacts, certificates and other local data from the expired rental cannot be recovered after the reset. Export anything you need before expiry and make sure your backups are usable.

Any change to your rental period, add-ons or configuration is subject to the options actually available in the console. Submitting a change request does not automatically pause or extend your existing rental. Any new charges and effective dates are those shown in the relevant order.

5. Acceptable use

You must use the machine in accordance with applicable law and Apple's software licence terms. Keep your console account, SSH keys and remote access credentials secure. For team use, set up access and permissions in a way that lets you track who is using the machine.

You must not use the service to send spam, launch network attacks, mine cryptocurrency or distribute illegal content. You must not try to access another user's device, bypass service access controls, or use resources in a way that materially disrupts normal operations at a location.

If you discover exposed credentials, an unexpected login or activity that could affect a location, change the relevant credentials promptly and submit a support ticket through the console with your order number, location ID and a description of the issue. We will investigate unusual use based on verifiable information.

6. Availability and incident handling

All four locations operate year-round, 365 days a year. If you cannot connect, the machine is unresponsive or you suspect a hardware issue, note the time, location ID, order number and any error message, then sign in to the console and submit a support ticket. Do not include private keys or plaintext passwords in your ticket.

When we receive an incident report, we will check the connection and hardware status. If we confirm a hardware fault, we will arrange a replacement with an available physical machine of the same configuration and provide its connection details, along with guidance on what you need to redeploy. Whether data stored on the original machine can be recovered depends on the circumstances of the fault, so you should keep independent backups.

For verified periods of unavailability caused by a hardware fault on our side, we will address the affected rental time by extending your rental, based on the incident record. Downtime caused by your own actions, credential management issues or events beyond our reasonable control does not qualify for an extension. We will explain the outcome in the support ticket.

7. Data and liability

You are responsible for source code, certificates, build artifacts and other files stored on the machine during your rental. We do not view or analyse your files. Choose an appropriate backup schedule, and verify that your backups can be restored before making system changes, migrating configurations or reaching the end of your rental.

In the event of a hardware issue, we will investigate, arrange a replacement and address any rental extension in accordance with these terms. Report connection or hardware issues that we can address through a support ticket in the console so both parties have a record of the timeline and outcome.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, indirect losses are excluded from compensation. These include consequential business losses arising from an interrupted build that cannot be directly attributed to the rental charges for the affected period. Nothing in this section limits any rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

8. Changes, notices and disputes

If we change these terms, we will publish a notice on our website in advance and notify you at your account email address. The notice will describe the changes and when they take effect. The terms that apply to an existing order will be determined by the notice and the terms in effect when the order was confirmed.

If you have a question about an order, renewal, incident or these terms, sign in to the console and submit a support ticket, or email us at support@xcodevps.com. Include your order number and a clear description of the issue. Do not send full payment credentials or private keys.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of this platform is based. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute through discussion. If they cannot reach a resolution, either party may refer the dispute to a court with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction.
