These details help you get straight to work once your machine is ready. In particular, retrieve your files before the rental ends: machines that aren’t renewed by expiry are reclaimed and their disks are reset.

You’ll receive a reminder before expiry. To keep using the machine, renew as directed in your order and continue on the same machine. If you don’t renew by expiry, the machine is reclaimed and its disk is reset. Don’t use your cloud Mac as your only backup.
Make sure build queues have finished. Export any source code, signing materials, logs and artifacts you need to keep, and check the expiry time on your order.
Renewal keeps the same machine. If you need a different configuration or location, first work out how to move your tasks and data. Don’t assume you can switch without interruption.
If you don’t renew by expiry, the machine is reclaimed and its disk is wiped. Back up your files beforehand, and revoke any remote access credentials you no longer need.
